Zomato India Started A New Trend With Their Latest Quirky Tweet

Remember when Wendy’s (the popular burger joint) roasted their customers and competitors? They used social media and promoted their new burgers in a different way. All that roasting was appreciated by their customer and some of them were voluntarily asked to get roasted.

On July 3 Zomato tweeted: “Guys, kabhi kabhi ghar ka khana bhi kha lena chahiye.” (Guys, you should sometimes eat home-cooked food as well). This is not the first time Zomato India gained twitter’s attention for its quirky tweet.

Not just the likes and re-tweets but this Zomato India quirky tweet was able to start a new small trend among the Indian community. The trend started on July 3, which later followed by many other brands. But the latest tweet by Zomato India proves who is the boss. It reads, “Guys, kabhi kabhi khud ke acche tweet bhi soch lene chahiye.” This along with the screenshot of all the verified twitter handles of brands that copied Zomato’s quirky format.
