While there was an announcement of 7 big movies going OTT yesterday today the roads for the 2 big releases of the year going the usual way have come.
While Sooryavanshi is expected to hit the theaters in Diwali Ranveer Singh’s 1983 cricket world cup win based movie 83 would go on floor in Christmas this year. The two movies were slated for March and April release but were pushed due to pandemic.
With Amir Khan’s Lal Singh Chaddha not looking to hit the theaters in Christmas this year Ranveer’s 83 would try to make the most of it. Recently many films have decided to go OTT with Gulabo Sitabo being the first one to get released this month. It was speculated that these two movies would also look for the OTT way but it is not going to happen as it looks.

Apart from the 7 movies announced yesterday Janhvi Kapoor’s Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and the Shakuntala Devi biopic with Vidya Balan in the lead would also go the OTT way.
