Do you think they are always disciplined and focused? Well, they are. But that doesn’t mean they don’t know how to be fun or spice up the party by playing a prank, after every once in a while.
In the fifth and final ODI match, India beat the West Indies by nine wickets. And of course, the team deserved a grand celebration. But Dhoni thought that a bit of naughtiness would add the much-needed doze of extra laughter in the party celebrations, that they usually have after they win a match.
So what did he do?
Dhoni and Rohit Sharma decided to play pranksters and they sure did one hell of a job. After winning the series by 3-1, the team headed to the hotel. And as soon as the hotel staff presented the customary bouquet to Virat Kohli, Dhoni took charge and molded the regular cake-cutting ceremony into a more alive and fun celebration.
Rohit Sharma had no idea what was coming his way and nor did Kedar Jhadav.
The moment Rohit started the cake-cutting ceremony, Dhoni qued Ravindra Jadeja to pop a balloon close to Rohit’s ear.

Rohit obviously was startled with this noise and everyone burst out in laughter.
But this didn’t stop here, Rohit then messed with Kedar Jadhav’s face and smeared cake on the all-rounder’s face.
The celebration was recorded by BCCI which was posted later on the official account, showcasing that the cricketers too, are so much fun and they can pull off any prank for that matter. And I for once, cannot agree more.

Undoubtedly, this was a fun celebration and the entire team enjoyed the prank to the core. This clearly proves that no matter how senior the players have become, a part of them still is a young as a kid.
