Twitter Hails Jasprit Bumrah’s Hat-Trick With Hilarious Memes

The time has come when no adjectives are left to describe the rare talent that Jasprit Bumrah homes. The Indian pacer, capable enough to send thunders to any opponent’s dressing room, yet again proved to be the best resource team India could ever ask for.

The 25 years old, who he currently touring West Indies, became the 3rd Indian bowler to claim a hat trick in Test cricket. Jasprit dismissed Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brooks and Roston Chase in consecutive deliveries to achieve the feat in the 2nd Test. Earlier, Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan had claimed the feat for India.

Following the sublime performance, Twitter went bonkers and what followed was a series of hilarious tweets.

After being asked to bat first, India got a decent start on day one followed by a century by Hanuma Vihari on day two to set a 1st inning score of 416 runs. The lack of experience in the West Indies side added to their misery as Japrit Burmah removed John Campbell early in the seventh over.

The pacer then went on to scalp the wickets of Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brooks and Roston Chase in the ninth over to end any hopes left for the West Indies.

Bumrah returned with figures of 6/16 in 9.1 overs and reduced the West Indies to 87/7 at stumps on Day 2, 329 runs behind India’s first innings total. India wrapped up West Indies 1st innings for a mere 117 runs on day three before adding 168 more runs on the same day, setting a target of 468 for West Indies.
