Known as the “flying coffin” the MiG 21 aircraft crashed down here in Gwalior. As per the latest reports, the MiG 21 trainer aircraft that was on a routine mission crashed down on Wednesday morning.

In an official statement issued by the Indian Air Force (IAF), it was said that bit the pilots ejected the aircraft on time and there is no loss of life. The aircraft that was on routine training crashed near the Gwalior airbase at around 1000 hrs.
A Court of Inquiry (CoI) will be done to ascertain the cause of the accident, said the official statement from IAF.
