Though, recently when Sunny made a small appearance in the recently launched film Arjun Patiala, she hands out her contact number to the lead actor Diljit Dosanjh in one of the scenes.
Now most of us would have not paid attention to this detail, but fans of Sunny, well they were on it. And turns out the number she shared was an active number, belongs to Puneet Agarwal- a resident of Pitampura in Delhi.
New Problems For Puneet To Deal With
Sunny might have not faced any problem sharing a fake but active number on the screen. But the person whose number she shared surely faced a lot of trouble.

As Puneet Agarwal, the person whose number Sunny shared, started to receive 100-150 calls from unknown numbers all were asking for Sunny.
While talking to ANI news service, Puneet said, “On July 26, after the release of the movie, I started receiving calls from unknown people asking me to let them talk to Sunny Leone. Initially, I thought somebody is playing a prank on me, but after a while, I got to know that the makers of the movie Arjun Patiala have actually used my number and Sunny Leone in the movie dictates my number.”
Well, it surely wasn’t a prank and in an interview to Zoom TV, Sunny has also apologised to Puneet for misusing his number. “Sorry I didn’t mean for that to happen to you. Must get some really interesting people calling (sic)!” She said in the interview.
But Puneet is still not happy, “I am being harassed by many callers, people are abusing me and asking me to do some shameful favours. I have filed a police complaint yesterday but till now, the police has not taken any action even after giving me assurance,” He told the media.
In Conclusion:
Generally, while making a film filmmakers make sure that the number that they are using in the film is not an active number. Or even if it is active, they make sure to blur out the number, so that this kind of problem could be dogged.
One can say it’s not entirely Sunny’s mistake.
