A couple of weeks ahead of Srilanka’s scheduled tour of Pakistan, the team on Wednesday received a possible “terrorist attack” from the Prime Minister’s office. In a statement, the Prime Minister office said that it has “reliable information of a possible terrorist threat on the Sri Lankan team while touring Pakistan.” Following the warning, the Srilankan cricket team has urged the government to assess the security measures. Srilanka tour of Pakistan has been scheduled to begin from September 27 to October 9.
