International Cricket Council (ICC) has suspended Sri Lanka spinner Akila Dananjaya from bowling in international cricket for a period of 1 year over illegal bowling action. The ban was imposed after he was reported for the second time after Sri Lanka’s first test against New Zealand. Dananjaya was first suspended from bowling in 2018 and was allowed to play after remedial work on his action.
