Reportedly, as many as four people have been injured in a shooting at Washington D.C., United States. Among the six who have suffered bullet wounds, two are in a critical state. The shooting took place at Columbia Heights in Northwest Washington at around 10:06 pm eastern time. The street is not much – three km – far from the White House.
As a part of the investigation, cops rushed to the spot and blocked the sidewalks in the area. They added that road would not allow vehicular passage for a certain period of time.

Residents of the locality ever since have been trying to find a way to get to their homes. ABC affiliate WJLA-TV posted images on Twitter of ambulances taking injured victims from the scene to the hospital. There had been a “massive” police response at the intersection of 14th Street and Columbia Road.
As of now, police have neither apprehended a suspect and nor the motive behind the shooting, said Metropolitan Police commander Stuart Emerman.
