Video: Rescued Lion Touching Grass For The First Time In His Life Is An Emotional Rollercoaster

Lions may be one of the most dangerous animals but like every other creature in this world, they also have an emotional side. And this video, of a lion rescued from a circus, is a sheer example of the same.

The video capture the joy of the animal who, in his last 13 years, has never had that feeling of grass under his feet. As a circus lion, he has spent most of his life in a cage only until he was rescued and taken to a zoo.

The video, which dates back in time, was shared by IFS officer Susanta Nanda. “The feeling of the lion on touching the soil for the 1st time in 13 years after being rescued from a circus,” Nanda wrote on Twitter.

In the video, one can see the lion rubbing his paws against the soil before finally realising that he is free as his roles on the grass to enjoy freedom. The adorable video was lauded by the netizens.

The video films a lion from 2006 who carries the name Will, reports The Dodo. He died in 2011. Thankfully, not caged (Kinda).
