The nation knows about the historical dispute of Ram Mandir and has been trying to solve it once and for all. However, it doesn’t seem to come to an end. Yesterday, the mediation panel submitted its report to the apex court.

With this, any sort of negotiations between Hindus and Muslims to explore the possibility of an out-of-court settlement came to an end. A plea was made to the Supreme court in regards to the mediation panel’s advancements in terms of negotiation.

In response to the plea, Apex court advised the mediation panel. SC ordered to ‘inform the Court the outcome of the mediation proceedings as on 31.7.2019 by 1.8.2019 to enable us to proceed further in the matter in terms of the present directions.’

According to Hindus, the disputed site is birthplace of Lord Ram. Where as the Muslim community is furious that Babri Masjid was demolished on December 6, 1992. The mediation panel was supposed to calm down both the parties and bring them to a settlement.

Sadly, they weren’t able to do that and this brings us back to the same crossroads of the decade-long dispute.
