As many as 2772 gifts that PM Narendra Modi has received in the last 1 year will be auctioned in an e-auction starting from today. The money collected from the auction will be used to fund the Namami Gange project, an initiative to clean Ganga. The mementoes up for sale include over 576 shawls, 964 angavastram, 88 pagris and also a 2.5 lakh priced PM Narendra Modi’s portrait on silk. Those interested can log on to pmmementos.gov.in website to participate in the auction.
