In an event triggered by miscommunication, both Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer got ready to come in at No.4 during the match against South Africa yesterday. After dismissal of Shikhar Dhawan by Shamsi almost both the batsmen came on the ground. Eventually, Rishabh continued on at batted at No.4 followed by Iyer at N0.5. Both the batsmen failed to fire as India settled for a low key 134/9. South Africa won the match by o wickets and leveled the 3 match series.
