NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) will try to capture images of Lander Vikram, as it will fly over Chadranmyaan 2’s landing site on Septemeber 17. “NASA will share any before and after flyover imagery of the area around the targeted Chandrayaan-2 Vikram lander landing site to support analysis by the Indian Space Research Organisation,” said the LRO’s project scientist. Earlier, ISRO has clicked thermal images of the lander using the Chandrayaan’s 2 Orbiter.
