Popular Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi has planned to launch new variants of its flagship ‘Mi series’ next week. The announcements were made by Xiaomi on Twitter. A special launch event would be hosted in Bejing next Tuesday to unveil the latest Mi Mix 5G and Mi 9 Pro.

The launch of these devices comes at a time when India (which happens to be the largest market for Xiaomi’s Smartphone) is planning to switch to the 5G mode. Further, the kicking in of festive season would be a perfect launch time for Xiaomi to get its product rolled out in the Indian market.
Both the devices are expected to come with Android Pie (update for Android 10 would be made available) and latest MIUI 11.

Top-Notch Design
The Mi Mix 5G or what is commonly called the Mi Mix 4 would carry on the exotic design looks of Xiaomi’s devices a notch above what we saw in Mi Mix 3. As per the reports, the design would be pushed to the next level and would surely be a talking point about the device.
Mi 9 Pro would, on the other hand, is expected to be an upgraded version of the Mi 9 with a triple camera and enhanced storage capacity.
Big Storage Capacity
Much to the worry of less storage, the Mi Mix 5G is about to settle the issue for all. The device is expected to house storage capacities of close to 1TB. This would be supported by 12 GBs of RAM.
The Mi 9 would also see an upgrade in RAM to 12 GBs in face of the Mi 9 Pro.
Big Battery And Superfast Charging
Big battery life and enhanced superfast charging would add to the lurings for Mi Mix 5G. The device is expected to be launched with a 4500 mAh battery and a 40 W superfast charger.
The superfast charging feature is expected to be enhanced in comparison to what is offered by other brands at present.
Scintillating Camera
The camera of Mi Mix 5G is the talking point of the device so far. The Chinese smartphone maker has tied it up with Samsung to bring a whopping 108 MP ‘ultra-clear’ sensor camera in the device.
Interestingly, this would be the first time a camera sensor on a smartphone would go beyond 100 MP.
Expected Price
The Mi Mix 5G is expected to be priced around 58,000 in the Indian market as per 91mobiles.com. While the Mi 9 Pro is expected to be in the range of 31,000 to 32,000.
