In a bizarre yet cute incident that made us go awww and what the hell at the same time, a man put more than 300 “I am Sorry” banners and hoardings across a Chinchwad area only to make up with his girlfriend after a brawl. The incident funnily hasn’t only caught the attention of social media but also the local police.
On Friday, the residents of Maharashtra’s Pimpri Chinchwad area woke up to hoardings and posters expressing the sorry state of Nilesh Khedekar, a 25-year-old local businessman. Reportedly, Nilesh after a riot with his girlfriend decided to put hoardings carrying “her name” followed by “I am Sorry” in bold letters and exclamation marks and a heart emoticon.

Gloomily, his attempt to patch up came under the scrutiny eye of the Wakad police, who said they would approach the Pimpri Chinchwad civic body and urge them to take action against Nilesh as per rules dealing with illegal hoardings and defacement of public property.
“We managed to zero in on his friend Vilas Shinde who had helped Khedekar get the flex hoardings printed. Through him, we traced Khedekar who is the brain behind this act,” the official said.
Vilas further informed the police that “The girl was coming on Friday to the area from Mumbai. Using the night darkness as a cover, the duo initiated the creepy plan to put 300 hoardings on the route which the girl was likely to take, thinking the same will change her mind.”
