Assembly elections in Maharashtra and Haryana will be conducted on October 21 and the results will be declared on October 24, revealed Election Commission of India on Saturday. Maharastra, the 288 seat assembly, is currently administered by BJP in coalition with the Shiv Sena.
Meanwhile, in Haryana, BJP enjoys a clear majority. BJP has kick-started its Election Campaign in Haryana beside Congrees, which was ruled out of power from the state in 2014. Meanwhile, BJP-Shiv Sena would also want to sort out the ever-fresh seat-sharing tiff between the two parties.
