The Lok Sabha on Wednesday scripted a record after it took up all the 20 questions listed for oral answers during the Question Hour, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said. “I congratulate the House. Due to the cooperation of members and ministers, we could take 20 questions,” speaker Om Birla said post the question hour.

For the unknown, Question Hour is the first hour of a sitting session of India’s Lok Sabha, which is solely devoted to questions that Members of Parliament raise about any aspect of administrative activity. The concerned Minister is bound to answer to the Parliament either orally or in writing.
