Instagram Got New Feature
Instagram has introduced a new way for users to appreciate the story posts they like. Insta users can use this feature to express their emotions towards the best stories. With this feature, users can see the engagement of audiences with their stories. Also without sending direct messages you can show your appreciation towards the stories you watch. Without misusing the DM facility users can now mark the likes. This feature will not only prove to be an emotional update, but everyone can use it as a feedback option. Story creators will know whether other users are liking their posts or not.
Update Announced by Adam Mosseri
Known as the Instagram’s head ‘Adam Mosseri’ announce the roll-out of this new feature on Twitter. He uploaded a video to Twitter on Tuesday and tell us how the users can now like the stories. This month many other updates are also introduced by Instagram. They made it easier for the users to remove the comments, posts and other elements on Instagram. Another feature that allows the users to delete all the contents like posts, stories and many more in bulk was very useful. Even users can delete their reels interactions like comments, likes, sticker reactions and much more. Users can also search for past interactions using easy filters.

These all the updates are part of the Instagram development journey. They want to regularly improve Instagram’s messaging feature. As Mosseri also announced in December 2021 that they will now focus on improving the messaging features of Instagram and provide more transparency.

How does the new feature work?
Instagram’s new private story like feature is very easy to use. Just tap on the heart icon which appears as soon as you open the stories. This will be the like button, just tap it to show your appreciation for the story you like. To check how many likes your stories got, you will have to check manually. Open the viewer sheet to know all the details.
