Ever since the Motor Vehicle Amendment Act came in action the incidents of heavy fines have been doing the rounds. Keeping the public’s plight in mind the government of Gujarat recently announced to scale down the amount of fines to be charged. Following the suit, Karnatka’s CM B.S. Yediyurappa has asked the officials to examine Gujarat government order and implement similar kinds of cuts in the state.
