“Even Muslim witnesses (during the trial) have said that Ayodhya to Hindus is as sacred as the Mecca is for them,” said SC Judge DY Chandrachud while hearing Sunni Waqf Board and other Muslim parties’ arguments in Ayodhya land dispute case on Monday. The 5- judge SC bench headed by Chief Justice Rajan Gogi believes that “it’ll be very difficult for the board and Muslim parties to question Hindu faith that Ayodhya was Lord Ram’s birthplace”.
