Navi Mumbai is on high alert after a message in praise of the Islamic State of Iraq and Siriya appeared on one of the pillars of a bridge in Uran.
Tuesday afternoon, Mumbai police received a call telling about encryption written on the pillar of Khopte Bridge in Navi Mumbai’s Uran area of Raigad district.
What was in the message?
The message was praising the soldiers fighting for the ISIS. The name of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and other terrorists was also mentioned on the pillar. One of the messages mentions the name of Hafeez Saeed with images of rockets were also drawn in the message.

Not just this but the message also includes the name of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Indian skipper MS Dhoni.
While speaking to media, Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Kumar said, “The ISIS message or inscription pictured below the bridge mention Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, MS Dhoni and also Abu Bakr al Baghdadi.”
Sanjay continued, “We have assembled all possible evidence from the spots including beer bottles, mugs and other things. As locals have told us that the spot is used by youngsters to consume alcohol but we are examining every possible angle to find out who could have drawn this message.”
For now, the police is going through CCTV cameras installed nearby roads looking for the clues.
While talking about the encryption, senior officer privy to the investigation said, “The messages are very detailed and also mention time and how each and every mentioned installation can be attacked. The names of personalities and politicians could be code words. So we can’t take any chances. Investigations are on in full swing.”
Police have authorised a separate team which is investigating the matter along with the Navi Mumbai Crime branch.
“There are vital installations nearby the bridge and therefore these messages cannot be ignored,” said an anonymous Navi Mumbai police official.

Recently ISIS announced Kashmir as part of its caliphate and its first province. They called it Wilayah of Hind. Apart from that the Sri lanka terror attack, Intel also reports pro-IS fighters moving towards Kerala and other coastal states.
Police remain on high alert looking for into the matter. Trying to find if this is a prank or they have intercepted a big terror plan of ISIS. As the drawing of rockets in the message doesn’t suggest peace.
