Apple has globally unveiled iOS 13, its 13th installment of the iOS operating system, yesterday. The new update is available for free for all the eligible iPhones and iPod touch models.
Apple will push the iOS 13 update for all iPhone models starting from iPhone 6s and the seventh-generation iPod touch. The eligible iPhones on the list include iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPhone SE.
How To Install
To install the update, you simply need to go to Settings > General > Software Update and then click on Download and Install to kick start the downloading process. Make sure you have a wifi connection to initiate the update.
You can also update your iPhone or iPod touch to iOS 13 using iTunes. For the same, connect your Apple device to iTunes on your Mac or PC. Then and click on your device’s icon in the top-left side of the app window and then on the Summary tab. Now, Check for updates to download and install iOS 13.
iOS 13 brings a plethora of features and performance boast to iPhones. The latest version would add features like Dark Mode, a new photo and video editor, Sign in with Apple feature, revamped Apple Maps, and much more.
