Amid concerns over increasing Chinese influence in the Indian Ocean region, the Indian Navy has tracked down Chinese submarine movement close to Indian waters. Indian Navy’s P-8I maritime surveillance aircraft got the images of Chinese nuclear warship near the Indian waters. The aircraft also identified Chinese frigate deployed in the Gulf of Aden. The Navy is keeping a strong vigil on China’s vessel movement in the region. Recently the two nations were involved in a 1-day face-off (similar to Doklam) which ended after bi-lateral talks.
