Letter From Pakistan: Prime Minister Of Pakistan Wrote Letter To Prime Minister Modi

As we all know, Prime Ministers of India and Prime Minister of Pakistan are soon going to attend a meet in the Kyrgyz Republic’s capital, Bishkek. It will be for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit on June 13 and 14.

This is the second time Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has been reached to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Apart from the congratulation note on Modi’s electoral win, this letter included many other concerned words.

According to the sources, the letter has arrived two days back with the help of the diplomatic channels. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has written a congratulatory note and used words that support working for durable peace and stability in South Asia. Not just South Asia, but PM of Pakistan is ready to look for peaceful resolution of all outstanding issues that include the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.

Khan is not the only one from Pakistan who wrote a letter to Indian ministers. According to sources Pakistan, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has also written a letter to new External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. He expressed the same views as Khan, in which he congratulated the NDA on its second consecutive win and talked about the stability and peace of South Asia.

However, there has been no report of a scheduled meeting in Bishkek so far. There are still chances of a “pull-aside” meeting between the leaders.

In his letter, Khan has talked about peaceful neighbourhood policy that Pakistan follow. But in reality, the PM of Pakistan has understood that they need to “mutual respect and trust” in order to address the poverty and underdevelopment in his country.

In reply to Khan’s letter, PM Modi has said, “creating trust and an environment free of violence and terrorism were essential” for cooperation in fostering “peace, progress and prosperity” in the region.

Explaining it to simple term, India will stick to what they believe, talks and terror cannot go together.

In Conclusion:

India might not sit and talk with Pakistan until their country stands up and do something about the terrorism that is rising from their country.
