Heavy Rainfall Threat Looms Over Mumbai: IMD

Mumbai continues its fight against heavy downpour with no immediate relief coming from the side of the rain gods. It’s been raining cats and dogs in the city from the past one week and recently the IMD has forecasted heavy rains in the next 48 hours.

Along with Mumbai, the districts of Thane and Palghar are also under heavy rain alerts for the next two days. The IMD has predicted isolated rainfalls in pockets of the three districts. Meanwhile, rail services on the Central Railways route were delayed by around 20 minutes. As of now, no news of waterlogging on roads has surfaced.
