Teen climate activist Greta Thunberg has become one of the strongest voices in a fight to plunge climate depletion. Greta on Monday in her powerful speech at the United Nations blamed world leaders for “stealing her dream and childhood”.

Thunberg and 15 other children from across the world have filed a complaint against Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, and Turkey for violating the human rights treaty. These countries are the largest emitters of co2.
She began her speech by questioning the world leader that #howdareyou “come here saying that you’re doing enough when the politics and solutions needed are still nowhere in sight.”
The 16-year-old, from Sweden, shared loopholes in major economies idea of cutting carbon emission to 50% to keep the world temperature below 1.5-degree celcius.
“Fifty percent may be acceptable to you, but those numbers do not include tipping points, most feedback loops, additional warming hidden by toxic air pollution or the aspects of equity and climate justice,” she said.
Greta highlighted that temperature control is not something that “can be solved with just business as usual and some technical solutions” and said that the young generation is starting to realize the same.
Thunberg in a obvious reference to Donald Trump’s comment that “climate change is just a hoax” (before pulling out from Paris Climate Agreement) said that the United Nations would not suggest more radical plans to reduce emissions because they are “still not mature enough to tell it like it is.”
