Breakups and divorces are really bad. At least, for the kids.
But does this little girl look sad? Does it seem, that her mom and dad parted ways a few months ago? No, right?
There is a beautiful story behind this. A Texas couple recently split up and it wasn’t painful and ugly at all. In fact, it was one of the best separations you could have ever imagined. Sarah Megnon and David Lewis parted ways after two years of marriage but made sure that their daughter is happy.
Did that end things between the couple on a bad note?
Absolutely not. Instead of ruining the future of their little girl ‘Willow’, both Sarah and Lewis kept their daughter as a priority.
Enter Bonus dad aka Dylan Lenox, who is now engaged with Sarah.
Both will soon tie knots but before doing so, the new couple to be showered all their attention into building a happy and beautiful bond between the existing family. After separating from David, Sarah made sure that the next man to come into her life should love her baby as much as she did. And that’s how Willow ended up with her dad and bonus dad.
Beautiful, right?
“I introduced Willow to Dylan when she was 18 months old and he’s been with us ever since,” Sarah revealed. “Dylan told me he fell in love with Willow before me.” The bonus dad that Willow is blessed with also shares a strong bond with David (Willow’s biological father).

“No we are not a same-sex couple, but we do share a daughter,” Lenox, who is engaged to Willow’s mother Sarah Megnon, explained of his relationship to Lewis, who is Sarah’s ex-husband, in the caption. “We have molded ourselves into one unique family, of only for the sake of our children to know the power of love. Not only did I gain a daughter, I gained a brother and a best friend.”
Dylan shared the most adorable pictures on Facebook, which featured 5-year-old Willow Megnon’s daddy-daughter dance featuring Lenox as well as David Lewis.
Dylan further wrote, ‘When we care more about our children (on both sides of the party) than the way society has taught us to be towards (ex’s/baby mommas/daddies) then walls will fall, life will be free of hatred and remorse, and our children will conquer the foolish “norms” that media has shoved in our faces. He stays at our home when he visits because family is always welcome. He is not an outsider, he is and will always be apart of my life for the simple fact that we share the same daughter!
Of course, not a single moment would be like this without Sarah (mommy) and her kind and generous heart! Willow Grace you are loved by so many people in this world and your Daddies love you!

Nothing can be more beautiful than the strength of a family. The bond that these two families have, together as one, is the best example of living your life on your terms and not doing what the cliched society thinks is right. But here is ‘Willow’ with her dad and bonus dad.
Life would be so much better if all couple had the same attitude and thinking?
Most of the times after the divorce, a couple part ways. They don’t bother how the life of their child would be affected. Moreover, after getting into another relationship, the new partner tries to stay as far as from the dreaded ex. But David-Dylan-Sarah broke this stereotype in the best possible way.

“Dylan and David have a strong friendship,” Sarah explains. “It’s never a competition with him and Dylan. It’s what is best for Willow. Our daughter is very loved and will continue to know what unconditional love is.”
