Samsung Unveils Galaxy Note 10 And Galaxy Note 10+

Samsung on Wednesday at a packed Galaxy Unpacked event in New York unveiled not one but two of its latest creations that have got techies excited. The two Galaxy devices namely Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy 10+ with the biggest Galaxy note display to this day joined the Note family. Notably, the flagship phones starting at Rs. 69,999 share the same design and are Samsung’s first devices that lack a headphone jack.

Taking the route not taken, the Note 10-series will offer a new center-aligned punch-hole display with attractive curve edges to its users. The back is as beautiful as the front featuring a polished glass that adds to the aesthetic of the phone. Both flagship phones share the same design and feature, however, differ when it comes to screen size and resolution, rear camera systems, battery capacities, as well as memory and storage configurations.

The Note 10 comes occupied with a 6.3-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display while its big brother Note 10+ homes a bigger 6.8-inch QHD+ display. Both the devices will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Moreover, the camera setup on both phones is slightly different. The Note 10 mounts a triple camera setup while the Plus model comes with the vertically-mounted quad-lens camera setup. Both the devices come with a 12MP main lens, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens. On the front, the phone features a 10 MP selfie camera.  The differing feature between the two devices is the additional sensor at the back of Galaxy Note 10+, which as per Samsung will let users take 3D scans of objects.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 10 sports 8GB RAM and 256 GB non-expandable storage powered by the latest 7nm Exynos 9825 chipset and 3,500 mAh battery. The Plus version packs 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB of expandable storage. The plus variant sports a 4,300 mAh battery.

Further, both handsets also house a redesigned Bluetooth enabled S Pen which will come handy when scrolling on the big screen. Samsung claims that they have redesigned the S pen and embed a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope in it.  With the help of S pen and its gesture controls, you will be able to switch camera modes, zoom in and out, control volume, and scroll through Gallery.

Price

The phones scheduled to go on Sale from August 23 have been priced at Rs. 69,999 for the standard Samsung Note 10 and Rs. 79,999 for 12GB/256GB model. The price of the 12GB/512GB variant has been kept under the wraps as of now. Moreover, pre-bookings for the phones are currently live.
