Eros Now Issues An Apology After Sharing 'Vulgar' Navratri Memes Featuring Katrina, Salman

This Navratri has been a controversial one with three incidents in recent days that have hurt the sentiment of Hindus.

It all started a couple of days ago when the Kathua case lawyer from Jammu, Deepika Rajawat, posted a picture of a man touching the feet of a Hindu goddess during Navratri alongside the picture of the same man holding the ankles of the same woman during the rest of the year.

Then later, US Senator Kamala Harris’ niece shared a post depicting the US election scenario, which, again, was criticised in India.

And now, adding to the controversies is the post that Erso now shared (now deleted) recently that has pissed off the netizens. #BoycottErosNow is trending on Twitter since Thursday morning after a post, which has screenshots of the production and distribution company’s tweets around Hindu vs Muslim festivals, has gone viral.

The cryptically vulgar post about a festival, by no means, made sense and was deservingly criticised. Some netizens went a tad further to claim that ever since Eros Now has hired a Mulsim CEO, Ali Hussein, there has been a significant increase in anti-Hindu posts.

However, Adil Hussein is not the CEO of Eros Now but, as per our research, is the Creative head with Eros Now.

There was this section of the society that called out Eros Now for its unneeded creativity.
