Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia

As said by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday, 5,000 Delhi government school students were offered free preparation classes for Common University Entrance Test or CUET 2022.

During an interaction with the students at Kautilya Sarvodaya Vidyalaya at Chirag Enclave he said, “This year, for the first time, the CUET is being conducted for admissions in central universities of India. Many of the Delhi government school students wanted to prepare for entrance, but were not in a situation to afford high coaching fees.”

“For them, the initiative ensured that all the aspiring students are provided sufficient support at the school level itself so that they do not consider giving up dreams because of financial reasons,” reported PTI.

Online Mock Test For Students

As mentioned, the students were given all guidance they needed in all 13 subjects. For 20 days the preparatory classes were conducted for the aspirants of CUET 2022. An online mock test series was also conducted for the students to get familiar with the ‘Computer Based Tests’ system. For each stream whether “arts, science or commerce”, individual mock tests were prepared, he said.

“This helped students develop skills of time-management and stress management during exams. Regular practice has boosted their confidence and reduced the fear of exams among students.”

“Specialised centres for preparation of commerce and science subjects were created by forming groups of schools. For arts subjects, preparation guidance was provided at the school level. A total number of 106 centres were created for CUET classes in the southeast district,” he further said.
