Amid rising inflation and currency devaluation, condom sales in Argentina have plunged by a whopping 25%. In addition, sales of cars, bears and meat have also dipped to crucial numbers. Because of currency devaluation, the price of the condoms has gone up by 36% demotivating people to opt for safe sex or sex altogether. Apart from condoms, the sale of birth control pills has gone down by 6%. The peso currency has lost over 65% of its value against the dollar since the start of 2018.
