Football star Lionel Messi grabbed the FIFA “Best Player” of the Year award for a record 6th time in a ceremony held in Milan. With this, he took the lead forward from the Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo who has got the award on 5 occasions. In women’s category, American legend Megan Rapinoe who helped her team grab the FIFA WC for the 4th time this year grabbed the honor. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo gave the event a miss.
