Taking a note on ‘interference’ in judicial appointments, selection and transfers the Supreme Court said that it is not well for the institution. The CJI lead bench highlighted this fact while hearing a petition filed by the Gujarat High Court Advocates Association regarding a proposed appointment of Justice A.A. Kureshi. In recent times the judicial appointments have been a point of disagreement between the government and the Supreme Court collegium.
