E-commerce giant, Amazon, has joined hands with Global Optimism to announce a ‘Climate Pledge’ in an effort to achieve the Paris Climate Agreement 10 years early. Under the Paris Climate Agreement, 195 signatories countries have vowed to achieve net-zero carbon emission by 2050, to keep the increasing world temperature in check. Amazon has said to introduce 100K electric delivery vehicles to achieve net-zero carbon across businesses by 2040.
