In response to a heated-ongoing trade war between China and the US, Apple is mulling expansion of iPhone manufacturing in India. And for the same, the tech giant is investing a whopping $1 billion to give a push to production in India. The move aims to ensure iPhone prices don’t go up across the world as iPhones mostly are assembled in China. A facility in Chennai will be used to manufacture products for Apple’s global markets. Besides India, Apple is also planning to expand production in Vietnam.
